Thought I'd get in early, as I've actually had a little success this week.

Last Week
> Long Term (to be finished by 31/12/06):

1. Complete TW07 (100% completion achievement)
Getting there - 97% currently, I believe.
2. Finish the single player game in Gears of War.
3. Finish the single player campaign in COD3.
Hmmm, might help if I played them.

> Short Term (to be finished by MWC 13/12/06):

1. Get one online and one offline achievement in RS:Vegas
SUCCESS: Got the one for completing the first (HUUUUGGGEEE) level offline,
and also one for doing a co-op terrorist hunt online.
2. Complete act 1 of Gears of War.
FAILURE: Not played.
3. Reach level 25 in Viva Pinata (currently 20).
SUCCESS: Fuelled by a Ponocky romancing spree, this was achieved quite
easily.
4. Get the Aces Wild Trophy Ball in TW07. (All these hours spent playing a
TW game, and still no hole-in-one? Unheard of!)
SUCCESS: Set up a custom course of par 3s, and (on the first hole!) got that
elusive HIO.

Next Week:
> Long Term (to be finished by 31/12/06):

1. Complete TW07 (100% completion achievement)
2. Finish the single player game in Gears of War.
3. Finish the single player campaign in COD3.

> Short Term (to be finished by MWC 20/12/06):

1. Complete Act 1 of Gears of War.
2. Complete another level of RS:Vegas.
3. Get another online achievement in RS:Vegas.
4. Get the master romancer award for Horstachios in Viva Pinata.
5. Eagle all the par 5s on at least half of the courses in TW06.

Me too!

LAST WEEK

1) Complete The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.

ONGOING. Well, thirteen hours and two dungeons down, so I'm getting
there. It's a superb, brilliant, astounding, incredible, lovely game.

2) Get some more achievement points on the 360. Any game, any amount.

ONGOING. Three... sixty? What is that? I'm sure I'll go back to it soon,
but right now I'm all about the Wii.

3) Win another game of Naked War.

SUCCESS. I won a game fair and square on the little 3v3 map. I got very
lucky a couple of turns in a row, as one of my guys was left on a sliver
of health each time, then I ran, then I turned back on my pursuers who'd
decided to stand very close together and I just managed to kill them
both with two privates and a tank.

4) Get a score of above 250,000 on any version of Lumines. (PSP, PSP
sequel, mobile, 360.)

FAILURE. Well, I... I... um... I will play it again, but I'm really not
imporving much and so I'm just going to give up and replace this with a
new mid-term challenge.

5) Get Big Top's picture in Animal Crossing.

ONGOING. I need to play more or it's never going to happen. At the
moment I'm playing two or three times a week, which isn't enough.

THIS WEEK

1) Complete The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.

2) Get some more achievement points on the 360. Any game, any amount.

3) Win another game of Naked War.

4) Complete Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin.

5) Get Big Top's picture in Animal Crossing.

Remove the "a" and the same applies to me. Stupidly didn't set a

Goodness. Are you stupendously talented at it, or is it just rather easy? :)
I'd love to have a go at this. I actually went real-life bowling at the
weekend for the first time in about 3 years, and surprised myself with a
respectable 174. It could have been so much better, but I got a little
excited at the potential score around the 5th frame, and proceeded to bowl 3
open frames in a row. :(

LAST WEEK

1) Complete Kameo (this weeks old game completion challenge, shame I
hate the game)

FAILURE :: Didn't even get it off the shelf.

2) Complete Guitar Hero II on Hard (could be tough)

FAILURE :: 25/40 songs done on Hard and then I got distracted getting
perfects on the songs on Easy :)

3) Get to level 25 on Viva Pinata (should be easy enough)

FAILURE :: Rather surprisingly I didn't play it this week.

4) Finish first chapter of RS:V (again simple enough challenge)

FAILURE :: Didn't play it.

5) Finish third chapter on Amped 3 (hmm not sure if I'll get around to this)

FAILURE :: Or this.

6) Play some Wii games and some Virtual Console games. No specifics here
as no idea what to expect.

SUCCESS :: This is why all the other ones are failures :)

THIS WEEK

Hmm, will I get much time to game this week...

1) Complete Guitar Hero II on Hard

2) Get to level 25 on Viva Pinata

3) Complete up to and including World 5 on Super Monkey Ball Banana
Blitz (done up to 3 so far)

4) Get my Wii Fitness Age under 30 (35 at the moment)

5) Get at least 3 gold medals on Wii Play (1 so far)

6) Succeed at that bloody toilet door slamming minigame in Rayman Raving
Rabbids, grrrr...

226 is my best so far

Once you get to pro you need to score around 190 or better to stay
there! Sometimes Iu have the knack and get >200 other times luck or
skill deserts me and I get 150-170ish. I would guess my average score is
around 190.

My 4-year old daughter has scored 120!

My 6 year old got 190 last night - and the ball bounces half way down
the aisle.

Me - I have to move all the way over to the right as no matter what I do
the ball swerves left.

Yes, it's very easy.

I discovered the training last night and ended up playing them for
hours! Curving the ball between the barriers (third bowling training) is
ace, and great for practicing those curve balls.

GoW - Act 4, I will finish this before Christmas. Then its co-op whoring on
insane. I want those points!

SUCCESS! Just Act 5 to go now and its getting rather hard.

GoW - Get an achievement on multiplayer. Still haven't tried online, still
haven't seen how shit it is.

SUCCESS! Got the 'remember your first' achievement for my first ranked
match. Then lost connection half way through the second match, then
couldn't connect to any match. Its alright, I got some kills and stamped on
a few heads but not knowing the maps is a pain.

Galleon - get to at least level 3. Again would like to finish before Xmas
but it's looking like a bigger game than I was expecting.

SUCCESS but this game now carries MAXIMUM HATEAGE. It all started when I
needed to find a hammer which obviously would be in a ship wreck at the
bottom of the sea. Then there were a number of puzzles and timed challenges
which were clear as mud even after reading a walkthrough. Then level 4
required me to do this Godforsaken swimming thing. Grrrrr.

Up to January 3rd.

Finish GoW.

Have one more crack at Galleon and see if level 5 is any more fun before
consigning this to the bin.

Drink lots of booze.

Eat lots of food.
