If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the precipitate.

Hmm. Animal Crossing was last year (just), so it must be Elite Beat Agents.

Soundvoyager.

It's dead, isn't it?

My computer runs at 3.5MHz and I'm proud of that

i'd probably go for Phoenix Wright (both of them) most fun i've had on
the DS all year, really. MPH did nowt for me.

god knows, i've not bought a GBA game in ages.

this year.

Qwak, Summon Night: Swordcraft Story. Can't think of anything else, off-
hand. I've probably played Mr Driller Ace more than anything else on any
platform this year, but that's years old. Oh, but it got a budget rerelease
this year, so maybe it counts anyway.

Outrun 2006, Exit, Street Fighter Zero 3, Myst, Tales of Eternia, Every
Extend Extra, Sonic Rivals and Mercury Meltdown (this one, in particular,
is criminally overlooked).
It's rather noticable that the PSP is mostly remakes, isn't it... poor
little thing. It's such nice hardware, criminally wasted.

ACWW was my first thought too, but nope - I got it in December 2005.

Huh - never heard of it. An EBA type game? What's it like?

Fatlining so far as I'm concerned.

Lode Runner? Never saw that one! What's it like?

I always thought the PSP should have had a touchscreen! But yeah -
decent hardware wasted :-(

It's a little game you play with your headphones on and your eyes
shut. Really.

Phoenix Wright, probably. Did Mario & Luigi: PIT come out in 2006? That was
awesome, too.

Outrun 2006 and LocoRoco. LocoRoco was cute and lovely and good fun and at
least moderately innovative. Outrun was a brilliant update to a classic game.

Arrgh! I meant 'Flatlining' of course *ducks head* I'm not sure what
Fatlining would be...
I've got to agree with that. Phoenix all the way or Trauma Centre!

It's excellent, but very Japanese heavy in the front end. The levels mostly
come from the NES Lode Runner games but with improved graphics and
presentation, plus there's a load of extra challenge levels that are more
puzzle-like. There's a very nice editor included, but unfortunately no way
to share levels online.

*chuckles* Is it really prone to scratches? I never use any portable

Tekken DR. Best version on any console bar none.
Exit deserves a mention too.
By your childish reasoning ("I don't like this, so it must be dead"),
the DS is just as dead, because I absolutely loathe it.
FYI, there have been at least a dozen great games for the PSP. That you
and a bunch of other Usenet nerds seem to prefer kiddy games and girly
games doesn't mean the real world agrees with you. And - no - sales
figures don't say much. That's what you ninty fanboys have been
claiming for years about the Gamecube, right?
Idiot.

I don't recall giving any reasoning.

Ho ho ho. Full of Christmas spirit, you are.
>FYI, there have been at least a dozen great games for the PSP.
And there have been at least three dozen great games for the DS.

>and a bunch of other Usenet nerds seem to prefer kiddy games and girly

I have plenty of games, that don't fall into the "kiddy" or "girly"
categories, that people like you insist don't exist, thanks. Metroid Prime
Hunters, Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow, Brain Age, Age of Empires, Chokkan
Hitofude, Metroid Prime Pinball, True Swing Golf, etc, etc. Also, does the
fact that a game is "kiddy" or "girly" mean it's a bad game? Only in the eyes
of Sony fanboys (who, incidently, also lap up the likes of Katamari, Kingdom
Hearts, Jak and Daxter, Death Jr, etc - all "kiddy" and/or "girly").
>And - no - sales
>figures don't say much.
No? Forgive me if I'm wrong, but don't higher sales mean the console is more
alive than those with lower sales? The real kicker is the games-per-console
sales, which is (IIRC) about 4.8:1 for the DS, and 1.8:1 (*including* UMD
films) for the PSP.
>That's what you ninty fanboys have been
>claiming for years about the Gamecube, right?
"Ninty" fanboys may have been, yes. I haven't. Do you even know what
consoles I own and play on? What about the fact that the last 4 games I've
had have all been PS2 games, even though I only recently bought a Wii? Or
that my most played console this year was, by a long way, my 360? Yeah, big
"Ninty" fanboy, I am.
>Idiot.
Says you who has an equal and opposite view to my own, so therefore is equally
and opposingly as idiotic as myself.
And for what it's worth, that was a jokey remark which was also mirrored by
other replies.
But, please, do come again.
Indeed. But what didn't you like about the one I presume you had, if I
may ask?

Oh dear, and you started off so well.

Don't say much about what? Doesn't the real world buy things?
> That's what you ninty fanboys have been

Wrong, I'd say. It's got some decent exclusive games that I'm
interested in, but that's about it. It had potential but sadly, rarely
used.

I didn't recognise your name so did a quick Google profile search. It looks
like you have an irrational hatred of all things Nintendo.
Did you get violated by an N64 rumble pack in prison or something ?
nah, but his pervy uncle was short, fat, italian, had a big tache and
a penchant for red dungarees though.
Screen + Pepsi Max = you bastard
Just started playing this today - about an hour in I guess. It seems
like yet more metroid goodness but it's making me crave the Wii metroid
game really badly!
