We have had our Samsung SR-L3626B fridge for about about 6 years. It has recently developed a strange fault whereby when it is powered on, the fridge and freezer will cool and compressor & fan will run for a few hours. Wood bar abive windows

I've always wondered what the wood bar above the window is for ? its too narrow to mount the brack for the curtain pole by about an inch. I recently mounted a 2 piece curtain pole, I put one bracket at just before the start and end of pole and I cut a gap to snugly fit the thrid bracket in the middle of the window wood bar, not sure if this was right... more »

Bosch dishwasher repeatedly blows fuses & sparks near power cord

I have a Bosch Exxcel diswasher (code on back of machine is 5600041012/04/154/05:52). The other day, part way through the cycle there was a bang and the machine lost power. The fuse had blown and when I changed it and optimistically plugged it in again there was another bang and again the machine had no power. As I had the back exposed this time I did... more »
