I've just seen my first iPhone 5 in the flesh and it is gorgeous. One
thing that seems immediately handy is that the headphone jack is now at
the bottom of the iPhone making water ingress from rain less likely.

They are rather nice. Personally I wouldn't bother upgrading my 4 for a
5, as they are expensive, but if I had neither, I would go for a 5.
Assuming I could get it on a non 2 year contract.
