Not sure if this is the right group but have seen a few references to
iphones on here!

If buying an iphone today (switching from a blackberry something) are
there any must-have advantages of going for the 5 over the 4 (or 4s)?

False economy to save money on a 4s? I have a 4s already and find it
great, the 5 would be an upgrade from blackberry for someone else...

In article <MPG.2af0a1546...@news.individual.net>,
I've just seen my first iPhone 5 in the flesh and it is gorgeous. One
thing that seems immediately handy is that the headphone jack is now at
the bottom of the iPhone making water ingress from rain less likely.

They are rather nice. Personally I wouldn't bother upgrading my 4 for a
5, as they are expensive, but if I had neither, I would go for a 5.
Assuming I could get it on a non 2 year contract.

I was about to go on a rant about the lack of compatibility with older
"Made for iPod" devices that the Lightning connector seems to suffer from,
but that has been dealt with by the adapter:

So get the 5!
