I usually have the Dock at the bottom of my main display. When running
with multiple monitors, my main display is on the right (20" Cinema
display, 15" MacBook Pro plugged in and placed on the left-hand side of
it).

For interminable reasons involving awful client software from Citrix, I
need to put the dock to the left-hand side. Having done so though, it's
gone to the left-hand side of my smaller display, not to the main
display.

Is there any way to get it to appear on the left-hand side of my main
display? I -could- circumvent this and just move it to the right-hand
side, but I'm picky and already annoyed enough that I have to shift it
from the bottom due to Citrix. Would prefer left-hand side of main
display if possible.

Cheers,
Ian

Which display in the menu bar in, doesn't the dock follow the menu bar?

I am, and it doesn't. Menu bar on right screen, a left dock inhabits
the left of the left screen.
<hurriedly puts it back on the right, where it does least harm>
