OK, I've now tried out Spotify and upgraded to the premium version to
get the mobile features. The desktop client recognises this and shows I
have a premium account. Download the iPhone version though and try
signing in - it won't let me, keeps asking if I've mispelt my password
(which I haven't).

Anyone else upgraded and seen problems? How long did it take after the
upgrade for things to be recognised?

Nope, I can see the letters appear as I type (normal iPhone thing of
showing it for a second or so before changing to a dot) and I'm
definitely typing the right thing. I can log in via the web, via the
desktop client...just not mobile. Which is damned annoying, since
that's the only reason I upgraded. I wanted to use it -now- whilst I
did some incredibly mundane work in the kitchen.

Ian

Some dubiousness - on the advice their support (-very- fast email
reply) I uninstalled the iPhone app and put it back. All then worked.

That's funny. That was a solution in the early days of the Spotify PC
desktop application with similar authentication issues.
