Griffin's site doesn't actually list the iPhone as a compatible device
but I thought I'd ask here anyway.

Works for me. You'll have to define "current" - some of the iTrip models
support the iPhone/iPT, some don't.

What I see is that I plug the iTrip in and the iPhone complains about it not
being compatible and wanting to go into Airplane mode.
Actually, this may be preferable - I don't get all the
bzzz-bib-bib-bib-bzzzzz noises.
I think it may be time for me to investigate a more direct connection
method...

It probably would have helped if I said that mine is a Griffin iTrip
AutoPilot.

Aaaaaah. Yes, different beastie, and one that they _do_ list as being
iPhone happy.
I just have the plain old white plug with a dial on the side.
