ITMS does seem to be surprisingly ignorant of some big selling albums
though.
Or maybe it's just me.

No, it's me too. Seeing similar here plus this from the other post:
It downloaded *some* art and didn't seem to bother with other bits.
I've checked the do it automatically when you notice it's not there
pref and given it permission to do it without telling me the bleedin'
obvious about having to send info to Apple. But with many albums it
doesn't bother to download art that *is* on ITMS. I know this because
if I right click the playing track and tell it to download art (remind
it!). The art promply arrives. Perhaps it's just can't be arsed with
some album covers - nah you don't want that one ...

I don't think I've seen that happen, though I've got a couple of very
"placeholder" like covers downloaded.
Oh, crap. Just discovered that ticking the "Don't bother me!" box for
deleting records lets me type a backspace and vanish tracks. How do I
re-enable that?
Just found the "Show Genres when Browsing" tickbox and cleared it,
which improves the display slightly. The whole thing still looks like
a Vista affair, all mismatched widgets and random sidebars/topbars/
divisions. At least there's no transparency round the windowframes.
But ticking the "Group Compilations" works in the middle view, which
is nice.
Cheers - Jaimie
