Stupid newbie question, no doubt. I have set my wireless router to not
broadcast its SSID. I have set my network preferences so that Airport
remembers that network. Except that it doesn't. Whenever I reboot, or
wake the Mac from sleep, Airport complains that no preferred network is
available, and I have to type in the SSID and the WPA password (which it
also doesn't remember) all over again. Surely ticking "remember this
network" ought to result in Airport remembering the network? What am I
doing wrong? I'm using OS 10.5.8, if that's relevant. Thanks.
