What would you get? Must be a real gadget, readily available.
I'll start you off with: a cable. I just bought a DVI<->HDMI cable so I
can connect my Powerbook up to my 32" telly. £23.

A remote for my MacBook Pro that fits in the card slot. I use the remote
quite a bit more than I expected (for watching DVDs) but I just *know*
that I'm going to lose it at some point. And if we go away and take the
MacBook Pro with us, then the remote will be rattling around in my bag
or will get forgotten.
I want one that sits in the card slot until I need it, preferably
topping up its own charge. Ideally Bluetooth, but I've been surprised
how good the Apple IR unit is at (apparently) going around walls.
There's one that's readily available in the US, but postage to the UK is
more than the unit itself, IIRC. I think it came to around forty quid
with delivery when I looked. I'd spend the remaining sixty quid on, er,
a lifetime supply of vegetarian bacon or something.

iPod interface for the car so I didn't have to put up with the radio
anymore, so thats £40 (and slightly mac related). That or as the prices
drop a 17" DVI TFT monitor for the MDD.
I've just bought another Canon SLR for £10, and a trip computer for the
bike £10, which tells me how fast, how far, and how few calories I've
burnt :( which so far has struggled to come close to the contents of the
water bottle never mind the choc stash :/

No. Not unless you can get one now, legally, for no more than £100.

Ooh, is there? Linky?
I actually spent my £100 a couple of months back - got an Elgato
Diversity.
Admittedly I had to spend another £400 to get a Mini that would take
best advantage of it for watching stuff on the TV, but never mind.

It won't be £100, more like £600, but an Optimus Maximus would fit the bill,
I think. Oh, and it's still only /Coming Soon/ .
So, it doesn't fit your criteria very well at all then. I still want one
though.

Although I haven't fully tested my kid's toy 'Tony Hawk' cam. yet. It'll

A QPAC unit to go with the Garmin Quest (1) GPS a good mate has just
given me.
http://www.gpsw.co.uk/details/prod2734.html
It will allow me to power the GPS when using the RAM mount on the
motorbikes and provide an audio output to feed into the Autocom Pro
2000 intercom and thence my lugholes.
Then I might spend another 50 quid buying the latest version of the
mapping software to bring the unit right_up_to_date. ;-)
A RAM cycle mount for the Quest should *just* get me some change from
my £100 (as I'm not sure Special Brew is permitted) ;-(

I don't know. We recently got a titanium sausepan that was over £40, and
it is lovely. It definately had that gadget buying feel!
I bought a Zoom G2 guitar effects doodah. it was £50 for the unit, or
£39 for the unit, a power supply and a display stand (which was for
shops to put it in the window). Technically if I could find out which
pins are the USB, I could put a usb socket on it and it would work as a
96khz/24 bit processor, and be a mac gadget.
I also bought a boss micro-br, and that has got mac software, so it
could be a mac gadget, although it was over £100.

Maybe, but the Le Creuset ones are not made of titanium but of neutron
star material, and keep on trying to break free and plunge into the
centre of the Earth.

What??? They're *wonderful* to cook in. I was very unconvinced about
them until I got one[1]. I cook everything I can in it now.
1. Not a real one, it's a Le Crueset alike.
They're fine to cook in, but any heavy-bottomed saucepan will be much
the same and (most importantly) not shatter into six pieces when it
slips out of your hands while doing the washing up. And be cheaper,
too.
I still own a couple of Le Creuset bits, but don't bother using them
much. They're not as special as their price.

I must admit that our titanium sauspans are in preference to the Le
Creuset stuff, which is available in the same shop and at pretty well
the same price.
