BlackBooks have user-replaceable disk drives?

says that the disk inside the MacBooks is user-replaceable (ie without
dismantling the machine). That's good.

Can't find any other reports of this, I'm guessing Google's spiders are
catching up with the news.

I read this last night - remove the battery then a foil shield and you
gain access to the HDD. More straightforward than at present with an
iBook. :-)

Too bad Apple didn't make the Intel iMacs with user-replacable HDs.
As it is, one must go through an entire dismantling process to replace
the HD, unless he wants to send it into Apple, or bring it to an Apple
store.

It's easier than replacing a Tibook HDD and that was straightforward.
