Anybody have any idea where I can source a motherboard, it has nc51g-s2
printed on it, it is an am2 out of a biostar sff case. The case looks like
an N1 but a google earch only comes up with one hit ideq 250n (case looks
different). I am trying to find the motherboard only although an
alternative may be ok - quite happy to modify the case but he motherboard
needs to be 310 x 190 mm

any help would be appreciated

thanks

It's a Biostar motherboard, shaped to fit the case and heatsink
arrangement. Basically your only option (other than getting another
mobo/case/psu unit) is to contact Biostar or a reseller and see if
they can get you one.

I did that for a Shuttle last year, cost about £100 for the mobo alone
on a kit that cost £130 originally.

Hello,

I've found your post.
Were you succesful with NC51G-S2 mainboard searching for BIOSTAR iDEQ 250N?

I am curious cuz unfortunately during 4 years I need 3rd mainboard of this
model.
Unfortunately I've receive answer from Biostar technical dept. in
Netherland:
"Unfortunately we are not possible to do service for this Product anymore.
The production of this product is closed long time and all warranty times
expired already.
Maybe you can find a used low cost product in the market."

I thank for any advice or your experiences,
Peter

Your problem with graphic card was my 1st reason why I was forced to send PC
for RMA.
They change mainboard. There was no signal from external PCI-e card. After
few months even from onboard.

Second time, I am not able to switch the PC on. More at:

Hi -

The folks who supplied the replacement shuttle motherboard for me also
work with iDEQ parts. You could try mailing them, see if they can
source one for you. Be warned - they did charge me 100 for the
motherboard.

You could also scout on eBay or similar for old ones being sold. None
on eBay right now.

On the other hand, at four years old and three replacements... if it
were me I'd really look at this as an opportunity to move on. You can
build a whole computer for under double the cost of a new motherboard
for one of these.
