Pat's Note: I have never been happy that we ever got anywhere near the
truth about Schmallenberg and how it arrived in the British Isles or
indeed which species are impacted.

I have lots of reports that don't really tally with the official
pronouncements, most recently of antibodies being found in a dog.

Watch for supercharged midges flying the Atlantic backwards against
the wind via Antarctica, container loads of infected midges being
smuggled across the Atlantic by illegal immigrants, seagulls, ramblers
and, of course, IIIIM - Imaginary Illegally Imported Infected Meat.

Geography has never been allowed to interfere with a good cover story
for Defra's corrupt veterinarians.
