If you want more subscribers and more of an active channel then do the following instructions.

WHAT TO DO TO GET MORE SUBSCRIBERS AND MORE OF AN ACTIVE CHANNEL

1. Post a comment in this thread about what you do, the link to your
channel, how videos you got, if you're active on the channel, how long
you've been on youtube etc.

2. make sure you have a facebook and twitter account so your fans can
follow or like you, they want to be updated daily about what you're
going to do for your next videos

3. in your videos make sure you ask your audience a question maybe
related to the channel. Also make sure you ask them what you want them
to see you do or talk about next. Maybe daring videos such as
challenges like drink a bottle of ketchup (I don't recommend you to do
that).
Post comments in your videos on what user's said in the past videos
that they might want to ask you and reply to them.

4. post comments on others videos so you get more known, make sure you
don't swear or be unkind to those who gets something wrong and try not
to be racist that's not the cool way to go.

5. make sure your video has allot of tags and also put: MORE TAGS in
description with tags underneath to gain more views and make sure the
title is optimized the best way you can think of and also search
something in the bar because it might automatically pop up with an
even better title.

6. subscribe to other channels and leave a comment in someones channel
and make it sound like "WOW i love the video you put up they're so
inspiring" because that boosts their confidence into making more and
you also might have made a new friend and a subscriber.
but do not do it because you want views, do it because you love them
for real.

7. not sure if i said this already but give people shoutouts if they
truely deserve it.

8. good lighting in your videos is important only do videos in the day
if it's sunny out because when it's natural that's the best type of
light ever and make sure it's in hd and mp4 format because it
compresses it down to a smaller size and keep the excellent quality.

9. audio quality, make sure it's in mp3 format and if you have a mic
don't be too close or to far away because they won't be able to hear
you or the sound will be distorted by you shouting down the mic and
they don't want to hear you breathing in it aswell.

10. if it's your first video then make sure your first one is to do
with introducing yourself because that's the most important thing in
the community so they can understand what you're all about.

11. be a character that the world hasn't seen before, be interesting
and unique.

12. don't eat while making a video that puts everyone off especially
when they can see what's in your mouth.

13. if someone diss your videos, don't answer him back because that
gives you a bad name, everyone had dislikes it's normal, there's loads
of idiots in the world who try to wind you up.

14. get involved with collabs and events or maybe host something in
your area with your own t-shirt and the link on it so others in your
local area can get involved on your channel. If it's a local radio
station that's hosting a quiz show or a sponsored walk or run then you
could entertain the guests.

15. sell your merch to fans because when they wear it or use it, it
spreads love to other people.

Nice tips I'll have a go with them later, but first some shamles self promotion. I am bit of a nerd who has been making interernet videos for a number of years -without much traction-. I now have 3 youtube channels morgohill, pcwizzshow and howtocodein, each channel has had it's differences, morgohill was my first channel where i made videos about tech but am now moving it to a vlog -losing any traction it had, and making me rather disapounted at peoples lack of interest in me-, the pcwizzshow channel is where my nerdy software reviews and how to moved to (taking most morgohill veiwers), the howtocodein channel was one byte too many for me, so after two videos that didn't get many veiws or pick up any subscribers, I haven't botherd making a video for it since it's first week.

So, why am I posting here?

All I want is community (of any size, five will do), built up of members who consistantly like and share my content, I'm not about subscribers -Even though I am a partner- , I'm about people who engage, I think some of you may be able to help me.
