Hi all,

This might be a bit of an anal question - however I'm busy making all the graphics for the live streaming stuffs at the moment.  I'm using ffmpeg to generate blanking slides for talks and such - and I need a TTF font to use.  Is there an official font?  I was thinking of using Univers personally, as it *shouldnt* conflict with the logo too much and have been told it'd be a good idea by a designer.

It might benefit from a spelling check - field is misspelt all the way through the document…

no it doesnt help there is no mention of font used in this document

I'll be using Swiss and so is gmjhowe who designed the map for the booklet

Its worth noting that swiss, arial and univers are all essentially 'copies' of helvetica. So using any of those fonts should look fine in regards to EMF. I also used swiss on the leaflet.

(I assume my reply is too late now :)

You could also discuss it with Stavros, the guy who made our logo -- he's a typographer. (He even started talking about a custom font for EMF at some point, though I don't think that ever happened.)
