Thanks very much for the invitation to join the group. 

 

I’ve been in business for just over two years and although I enjoyed corporate life and the experience I gained, I love being a VA because you can achieve a better balance between work and the rest of your life…….sometimes!  Moore VA provides support for a range of clients particularly those in the finance, law and coaching industries.

 

I was at the VA Conference and Awards ceremony on 19th April.  Thanks also to Angela Dawson for your kind message.  It was the first time I’d been along and thoroughly enjoyed it.  The speakers were excellent especially Nicola Cairncross and Susie Barron-Stubley.  It’s great to be able to meet other VAs and put faces to names and to talk to people at different stages in their VA career. 

 

I’m looking forward to meeting more on this forum and to sharing ideas and information and perhaps also any VAs attending the Times Crème event.

Hi Everyone

 

It's great to read about everybody in the UKAVA.

 

My name is Theresia and I'm based in Forfar in Scotland.  I am very new to the VA industry having left full time employment at the beginning of April this year.  As well as working virtually I also "temp" for local businesses.

 

I have many years' admin experience in a variety of environments including manufacturing, hospitality and accounting and recent qualifications in Advanced Spreadsheets, Databases, Word Processing etc.

 

I look forward to reading all your emails and picking up as many tips as possible along the way!
