Welcome to the University of Illinois College of Medicine International Health Society. 

The International Health Society was formed in January 2001 as a multidisciplinary organization of students and faculty whose work and interests entail all aspects of health and health care cross-culturally and trans-nationally.  IHS's mission is to foster an intellectual dialogue on international health concerns through the inclusion of multidisciplinary and multicultural perspectives, thereby providing a forum by which students may exchange and explore salient health concerns and facilitate translation of their knowledge and understanding into international health promotion and practice.
