What a finale...
This game has ended in such an amazing way, and we don't even know the
results of the final vote yet.
The comments threads right now feel like the party you have on the last
night of summer camp, with lots of hugs and tears. The warmth that is
pulsing through the Ultimate Blogger community is overwhelming.
Everybody wins.
BEST GRIFT OF THE MILLENNIUM
In case you haven't seen it yet, the big news of the day(/entire game)
is that James and Lyova have been living together in Taipei since
before we met them!!! What a twist. The video that revealed this
information

was the very last challenge post of the game, and it showed James and
Lyova in a very different situation than when we saw them last. No
threats or bondage this time -- just a touching video that painted a
picture of a true and inspiring friendship. It also told the hidden
story we always known was lying under the surface. (The story of what
in the world Lyova wanted with all those bobbing head videos, of
course.)
One commenter had this to say: ""I fucking love you, and I love the
grift that you have woven with your heaven-sent spinnerets. This one is
truly for the books."
We couldn't have said it better ourselves. And did we mention how
funny and well-done this last video was? It was an astonishing and
stylish end to an astonishing and stylish contest.
THE FAT LADY HAS NOT YET SUNG
Well, not QUITE the end...there's one more video from our great hosts,
announcing both the end of the contest and the winning blogger. We can
all gather 'round the glow of our monitors to watch that video together
on Monday morning and talk about how nostalgic for this particular
brand of fun and drama we'll all be soon.
Tomorrow will probably be a pretty quiet penultimate day.
