Relay for Life

Hello Everyone!

So, here's the scoop on Relay:

We only have 4 people on our Relay team so far, three of which will be
at Dreamstone and myself. And I got called into work at the last
second. So, due to lack of interest (and also people being busy), I
was unable to reserve a campsite. We cannot man a site with no one
there. So, if anyone wants to show individual support for Relay, they
will be at the track from 7 tonight up until 7 tomorrow morning. It
will be $10 at the door if you didn't sign up online.

Either way, have a good evening.

Hi guys! I'm re-registering the club, and need at least 10 myids for the CSO roster. If you are a fulltime student in the fall, I would really appreciate it if you sent yours to me!

Also, I rewrote our CSO website blurb: 

The Medieval and Renaissance Society is a special interest student group dedicated to learning, loving, and re-enacting our medieval heritage. We participate in local themed events and focus on recreating life between 600 and 1600 AD. We provide workshops and lectures throughout the year over topics such as medieval dance, cooking, music, literature, and clothing. On Mondays nights in Myers Quad we hold an open practice for fencing and our heavy weapons combat sport. We welcome anyone and everyone to investigate what we’re all about!

I'm an employee and grad student at UGA. Alex Medina has invited me to a number of fighter practices and I've enjoyed learning from your group. If possible (and I know I'm a bit old at 31!), I'd be interested in joining your group and learning more about medieval life - especially the non-fighting aspects.
