On the front page of today's (10/23) Independent Florida Alligator,
there's an article about shower timers that have been installed in
Yulee Area. At $2.80 each, these "Shower coaches" seem to be well-
received by the residents and are saving UF money and water. The
Green Team even gets mentioned by name in the column!
Kudos to Sharon Blansett of the Housing and Residence Education Green
Team. Hopefully the recognition will gain more valuable press and
encourage further efforts to conserve water on campus and around
Gainesville.
