I’m pleased to say that we received the comprehensive report from the
UF HR department regarding the Green Team Leadership training session
that was held on October 6, 2009, at Emerson Hall. During the session,
many ideas were shared between captains and leaders on teamwork,
effective messaging and identifying goals and target stakeholders.
This report outlines key points and lessons very well. I hope that
other captains who couldn’t join us can use this as a reference as
well.

I also hope that all captains have Nov. 12 circled on your calendar
for our next quarterly meeting. The meeting will be from 11:30 a.m. to
1 p.m. at the Friends of the Music room and we will be having brown
bag luncheon for this meeting. I have gotten about 25 RSVP’s so far so
please RSVP via email if you haven’t already done so.
