Is the robots.txt file blocking all group and user sites under the OCF to be blocked from crawling? Is there any way to change the robots.txt file to prevent crawling only on the [link] site itself?

More on simpler URLs for users

Last time, I queried about why every user subdomain went something like: [link] ...instead of something simpler like ocf.berkeley.edu/username. In other words, why the need for the www and the tilde. So how about this: username.ocf.berkeley.edu No tildes. No need to share the preceding www. And it's much simpler.... more »

I remember hearing last year that OCF had planned to expand the webspace alottment per user. Are there any plans to increase from the current 120mb in the near future to any other amount?

Hi, Is there any way to get the mail stuff working on a macintosh without prompting for the validity of the certificate. Every time Mail opens (the mac email program) or I goto the webmail site, it prompts about the validity of the certificate. Also, you guys should put up some form of online donation on your site.... more »

No double-sided printing available right now

There currently is no double-sided printing feature for our printer in lab right now, it was causing paper jams a while back, and we have yet to fix it. We hope to have this fixed by next semester. -Eleen

ssh authentication without password?

How do I ssh into a computer (ocf or any other school machine) without having to type my password everytime? I saw somewhere that I can do it with public/private key authentication. Specifically, I want to ssh into an EECS class account through my cygwin terminal at home.
