HELP.....Automatic login

I setup 'automatic login' running 9.10 and then downloaded Kubuntu. Now unable to select which desktop I want. I've tried "system-administrator-login window' but am unable to 'activate' the unlock button.Help....Thanks in advance ..elton

Just log out (upper right) and then make your selection and log back in.

Hasn't this issue been already addressed, for you I believe?

In any case, auto login will open the desktop last used so you will have to log out and select from a drop down menu on the left bottom section of the log in screen just what desktop you want to log in too. Then it will login to your selection.  You have to go through this procedure any time you want to change what you auto login to.

 If you auto login you have to first log out of your /x window which will bring you to the gdm or kdm login screen.  From there you can click one of the drop down menus the the lower left of the login bars and select whichever desktops you have installed.  The next time you auto login you will get the last desktop you shutdown from.
