Dear all,
I have downloaded Ubiquity from source using HG to translate po files
in italian language.
I have already installed old version of Ubiquity from source without
problems, but with the last version I received an error trying to
install Ubiquity.

I have Ubiquity in this folder:
d:\git\ubiquity-firefox
if I give the command:

python manage.py install
I receive this error message:

Build failed running pavement.install: Can't resolve profile
directory; aborting

My Firefox profile is in the standard Windows XP location:
%appdata%\Mozilla\Firefox\profiles

and it is the first time that I have this error trying to install
Ubiquity from source.
.
Somebody have had the same problem ?

I would like to install from source to verify that file that I
translate work, for this reason I prefere to works with the files
without building the XPI file.
Thanks
Sandro

I was having that issue for a while as well... I can't remember
exactly how I fixed it, though.

One thing which may help is to explicitly specify your profile name
like this:

python manage.py install --profile=MyProfileName

I'll look forward to your Italian localizations! :D

I have translated some string but before to submit the locale I
prefere to discuss with the italian team for a good translation.
When I'will have finished to translate all files (and my friends at
MozillaItalia have checked the localizzation) I submit it :

Thanks a lot for your help, Giallopropora!

Indeed, the manage.py install script now requires the profile
directory to be specified. Someone needs to update the documentation
to reflect this fact.
