I saw another product that allowed you to type "gs this <term>", I'd
like to have Ubiquity "search this <term>" is that possible? and can
results be displayed in-line?

I'm not entirely sure I understand your question.

Ubiquity by default ships with "google <term>" and "search <term> with google" - do you just want to rename it to "gs"?

Though it ships with a normal google search command. I'd like to
specifically be able to do a google search of the site I'm currently
on when I search a term.

Currently I'd hate to ctrl+[space] and then type "google site:http://
groups.google.com/ "ubiquity"". I'd like to see the ability to type
"this" instead of having to put in the whole url by hand.

Focus urlbar (ctrl + L), then "google site:this foobar" should (kind of) work.

If that's not enough, I'd suggest finding a 3rd party command that
does it, or writing one yourself.
