Role:
Your utilize the latest Adobe Flash CS4 development environment to
produce client/server gaming applications and other related web
applications using object oriented programming techniques within a
Rapid Application Development framework. You apply best practice
methodologies to ensure development of high quality, feature rich
commercial applications.
Responsibilities:
* Create and maintain Flash AS2/AS3 applications and client websites.
* Produce commercial-grade AS2/AS3 code for interactive gaming
applications and websites.
* Design and develop core components and new features for products by
coding advanced algorithms.
* Integrate code with server logic and Flash creative to progress from
wireframe to final applications.
* Develop and maintain coding standards to achieve efficiency in
maintenance and portability.
* Maintain the existing product functionality through point releases,
service packs and hot fixes.
* Ensure accurate detection, compatibility and optimization of Flash
developments.
* Development of test harnesses for unit testing.
Experience:
* 5+ years experience using Flash AS 2.0 and AS 3.0 with object
oriented programming techniques.
* Recent experience using PHP, SQL, XML, CSS, JavaScript, DHTML, DOM,
SOAP and Web Services.
* Experience with online game programming and RIA development is
preferred.
* Complete understanding of the web development process and internet
technologies.
* Knowledge of AS coding tools like FDT 3 Enterprise and Flash
projectors like MDM Zinc 3 an advantage.
* Knowledge of Flash Lite and Flex an advantage.

Relevant Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
* Adobe Certified Professional (ACP): Flash MX Developer
* Adobe Certified Professional (ACP): Dreamweaver MX Developer
* Certified FDT Developer
* A combination of education, training and experience from which the
required abilities may be acquired.
