Flex Software Engineer job description
Introduction
SDI Media Group (http://www.sdimedia.com) is the world's leading
provider of subtitling and language dubbing services to the
entertainment industry. With major operations in Europe, Asia and
North America, SDI is the only company of its kind to service major
media companies in all regions of the world. SDI is setting up a
software development department in Kiev and is looking for talented
and creative people.
Responsibilities
As a Flex Software Engineer you will be in charge of engineering and
implementing an ERP system aimed at automating SDI's business
processes. You will be responsible for requirements analysis,
research/prototype, design, implementation and testing of ERP software
client modules.
Required skills
• 3+ years of software development
• 1+ year of experience in flex based web Application Development
(ActionScript 3.0)
• Experience in flex component development / flex frameworks
• Knowledge of delivering dynamic, interactive content and client to
server communication ways
• Excellent UI design integration skills and an understanding of GUI
development as well as code documentation skills
• Thorough grounding in good software design principles, design patterns and OOP
• Experience with Eclipse, Ant tasks, unit testing
• Good spoken and written English
Additional skills
Successful candidates should possess one or more of the following skills:
• Experience with Java
• Familiarity with DB concepts
• Application security

Educational requirements
