On my u-IEC SD I went to delete a Wheels.USR file and it would not delete.
All my u-IEC would do is report: "Device not found" but with Jiffy Dos I could
do the Control-D and cycle through all of my Setup's disk drives:
C= 128DCR, (internal 1571 removed, has switch installed to turn off internal 1571: Al Anger Hack)..
I dont mind this alteration for the 128DCR so as all of my serial drives work and Im happy.
CMD HD: DEV#8
CMD FD-2000: DEV#9
1571 DEV#10 (has Jiffy Dos Rom installed)
u-IECSD: Dev#11
With Jiffy Dos I delete with: @S: "filename",11
Standard C= DOS: OPEN,15,11,15,"S:"filename":CLOSE15
I reformatted the SD card and now scratching files etc works okay, I was
just curious if the formatting process for the SD just doesnt quite format
like it should or something else.
Also: does the u-IEC let you hot swap the SD card, or is it if you remove
the card you would have to reseat the card first, and then reset the computer
and then the card can be read okay.
The reason I mention this is before I first fired up my 128D I made sure the
SD card was seated in place and then fired everything up, and turning on
all of my drives in the right order too.
Just thought this may be worth mentioning or just getting used to
using the u-IEC, and maybe its just the operator still learning. :)
Thanks all,
Terry Raymond
