Delta printer
The prototype delta printer will be leaving the shop for a 2 month tour so hold on to your plans for a while. I have materials for two more but will take a break before starting construction one will go to Mark to help develop and maintain the software and one will be left at the shop. The after the museum we will bring back the original to the shop so we are at least 2 months away from having a printer for members to work with. Should a volunteer step up and offer construction help maybe it will go faster... more »

Course Suggestions - Linux for Developers
I would be interested in an introduction to Linux course that was focused on learning the OS with a focus on developers, not end users. I am a retired software developer, primarily C/C++ but do know Java. My mainstay for the last decade has been Windows and VC++. I have worked with Java and dabbled in the CDT in Eclipse under Windows. I am still on... more »

Turing Drawings
[link] Turing Drawings uses randomly generated Turing machines to produce drawings on a canvas, as a form of generative art. The typical Turing machine formulation manipulates symbols on a one-dimensional tape. Turing Drawings uses machines that operate on a finite 2D grid, where each grid cell can... more »

QR Codes
I want to print out a sheet of QR codes times one or two dozen sheets. The general idea is to put them on the back of photos to catalog the hard originals with the digital scans of them. Generally I just need random/unique numbers or numbers that go in order though eventually it would be nice to print out a bigger label with the media data like... more »

The Elusive Peltier Donut
Me:  blab, blab, blab and put a Peltier thermopile between the hot end and the bowden tube coupling ...   Roland:  But you'd need a Peltier element with a 5mm hole in it.   Me:

Rainy day? Team delta could use your help
Today should be the last build day on the delta. It has been a long but very for filling journey for me. Today we have some wires to terminate and it is complete. We need to have a lessons learned meeting to capture ideas for the production delta for the schools. We should be printing by this afternoon. We need to select a item to print for the museum.... more »
