I don't think there's any point in signaling our battiness. I think
it's mostly assumed.

It looks like your laser is really getting dialed in. Think you could cut my faceplates for me for my cutter? I'm still a bit away from having time to reassemble my laser and I'd like to get them cut. I have drawings and materials for them already.

Shoa!

BTW, anyone want to weld me one of these? (Maybe a bit shorter)

What are you using to control the table and what is your cam process? Need to know what formats you can use.

Right now I'm using the program that came with the laser cutter. It's
called "LaserWork." Not badly done for Chinese software. There aren't
any Chinese characters you have to deal with for one. It seems to be
able to import everything.

It is known to work with dxf so that is your best bet.  I didn't see anything about the laser kerf so it must just trace the lines.

In particular, don't send me SVG. I have to open that in another
program and export to DXF.

Ok, sounds good. I believe I have the drawings in dxf somewhere. Does the
laser cut inside, outside or down the middle on the lines? Have you
measured the width of the cut?
