Subject: Computer memory
We have on the order of 200 computer cards for the cluster computer that
just need RAM and they'll be functional. Half of them need PC-133 SDRAM
and the other half need DDR 1 RAM. Old enough stuff that it's more
expensive than the new stuff; prohibitively so.

If you have any hanging around in a shoe box or something, please
consider bringing it to the lab. You can give it to me, or leave it on
the blue card table in the datacenter area up on the loading dock.

Thanks,
David Nielson

168 pin or 144?  Ebay has a bunch of wholesale lots for both.

All the stuff we have already is ECC. I don't know if it will work with
non-ECC memory; that's on the list of things to test.

The PC-133 slots are the 168-pin variety, and the DDR slots are the
184-pin variety. Full size. Laptop memory need not apply.
