While climbing my learning curve for 3D printing, I ran into this excellent article series @ Make Magazine: Top 3D services
@ Make magazine ( part 1 and part 2).
Among other tools recoemmended was Slic3r, the tool that I understand is being recommended for use on TXRX's DeltaMaker
printer (generates G-code instructions from models).
A note on the articles: click on the images for the slideshow(s) (it wasn't obvious to me when I first saw the article)).
