Buite Montana
November 5, 2006
Home invasion gone wrong for criminals.
Two illegal aliens, Ralphel Resindez 23 and Enrico Garza 26, probably
believed they would easily overpower a home alone 11 year old Patricia
Harrington after her father had left their two story home.
It seems the two crooks never learned two things, they were in Montana
and Patricia had been a clay shooting champion since she was nine.
Patricia was in her upstairs room when the two men broke through the
front door of the house. She quickly ran to her father's room and
grabbed his 12 gauge Mossberg 500 shotgun.
Resindez was the first to get up to the second floor only to be the
first to catch a near point blank blast of buck shot from the 11 year
olds knee crouch aim. He suffered fatal wounds to his abdomen and
genitals. When Garza ran to the foot of the stairs, he took a blast to
the left shoulder and staggered out into the street where he bled to
death before medical help could arrive.
It was found out later that Resindez was armed with a stolen 45
caliber handgun he took from another home invasion robbery. The
victim, 50 year old David Burien, was not so lucky as he died from
stab wounds
This girl should have had a visit to the White House and a Citizens
Award. Problem is we have
an illegal alien loving President and a whore media.

What a charming fellow! My NRA friends and I will all jerk off to
that rousing story straight away. And pay no attention to your
detractors Ted. That had everything to do with the subject of
backcountry. Thank you and do keep posting!

Those are not supporting stories. They are just repetitions of
exactly the same story, word for word, warts and all. The warts
are fairly big too.
1) "NRA files" is not a valid source.
2) "Buite Montana" does not exist.
3) No newspaper in Montana covered any such story.
4) At "nine", she could not even compete at clay shooting.
Additionally, since November when this first showed up on the
Internet, nobody has been able to find *anything* that supports
it as accurate, including an actual source for the article
itself.

Good story. But...no such place as Buite in Montana. Perhaps a typo...net
search on "Resindez Garza Harrington Montana" yielded same story (word for
word!) with location as Butte, Montana (eg,
http://forums.backpage.com/showthread.php?t=24144 ). Reference to The
Montana Standard ( http://www.mtstandard.com/ ) - newspaper in Butte,
Montana - yields no such story in search between 11/3/2006 and 11/8/2006 on
"Resindez Garza Harrington". Repeated search from 11/3/2006 to 4/26/2007.
nothing. hmmmmm.......
So went to the NRA website -http://www.nra.org/home.aspx - and did the same
search. nuffin-nada-zilch-big zero. Truncated the search to "Resindez
Garza". Again came up empty. Double hmmmmm......
So how come
1. If the story happened in Butte, Montana the newspaper there has no story
about it?
2. If the story as attributed came from the NRA files, NRA itself does not
have the story?
If this story was picked up by NRA it would almost certainly be in the
'armed citizen' archives
http://www.nraila.org/ArmedCitizen/Default.aspx
There is nothing there on it. She would also have to be of pretty good
stature and strength for her age to handle the shotgun she is supposed to
have used. I would say the poster is probably an agent provocateur posting
known false information in the hope it will be discredited.
That said similar documented incidents do occur all the time, which begs
the question why make one up? Here are a few verified examples:
The Times, Anchorage, AK, 1/15/92
State: AK
American Rifleman Issue: 4/1/1992
Only 11, a Talkeetna, Alaska, girl called on the firearms training her
mother had given her when someone broke into her home early one morning.
When she heard movement outside, then inside, the house, the girl got a
shotgun and yelled "I've got a loaded shotgun and if you don't get out of
here right now, I'm going to blow your head off!" The intruder took the
none-too-subtle hint and fled.
The Janesville Gazette, Janesville, WI, 3/24/99
State: WI
American Rifleman Issue: 6/1/1999
A 14-year-old Plymouth Township, Wisconsin, girl was getting ready for
school early one morning when she noticed a man peering inside through a
bedroom window. The frightened girl, whose parents had already left for
work, responded by retrieving a double-barrelled shotgun. That image was
apparently enough to send the man fleeing. The girl's father had set out
both the shotgun and a pistol for exactly such a contingency after she
reported seeing the same man the previous day.
The Herald-Citizen, Cookeville, TN, 6/13/96
State: TN
American Rifleman Issue: 10/1/1996
Despite the presence of her parents and a sheriff's deputy, a 15-year-old
Cookeville, Tennessee, teenager was still forced to defend herself from an
abusive ex-boyfriend. Confronted by the deputy and the girl's parents
outside of the family's residence, the young man broke free from the deputy,
jumped a fence, and kicked in the door of the house where the girl was
hiding. There the ex-boyfriend came at the girl to attack her as she held
the phone--with a 911 operator on the line--in one hand and a Ruger .44
Magnum in the other. A single fatal shot ended the attack.
The California, Bakersfield, CA, 9/21/92
State: CA
American Rifleman Issue: 1/1/1993
Two teenage girls were asleep at the one's Bakersfield, Calif., home when
two armed, masked men kicked their way in through the door, confronted the
young women and demanded money. When one man grabbed a wallet, one girl, a
guest in the home, grabbed a 9 mm and opened fire, mortally wounding one of
the invaders. The other escaped. Police said the girl would not face
charges.
Two down, twenty million to go.

Were you to get off your fat ignorant ass, you would easily discover the
following
1) The NRA files are just that, a collection of data
TO dismiss the data in the files just because they happen to be that
of the NRA demonstrates blatant prejudice
2) To dismiss EVERYTHING out of hand because of a typo shows more of your
prejudice
3) Of you look up the specific referenace, (although that would mean that
you would have to get off your fat ignorant do-nothing ass), you would
easily find the references to the media that DID report the incident
4) Since you know nothing about guns, you know even less about what age
people can compete at anything
And finally, just becasue you're a "nobody" does not prove that everyone
else is as lazy, stupid and ignorant as you
The father should be arrested for leaving an eleven year old alone in
the first place.
JAM
If it is from the NRA, then a correct cite would be possible.
You may have noticed in various forums (if you were "off your
fat ignorant ass") that the NRA has no record of any such case,
nor do they have the quoted article.
Nobody is dissing the NRA as source. You need to learn to read.
If the NRA *had* been the source, it would be valid... and
traceable.
>2) To dismiss EVERYTHING out of hand because of a typo shows more of your
>prejudice
The entire article was cut and pasted, and if it was real rather
than manufactured it would have been very carefully examined by
more than one very eagle eyed copy editor, and would not contain
such obvious typos.
>3) Of you look up the specific referenace, (although that would mean that
>you would have to get off your fat ignorant do-nothing ass), you would
>easily find the references to the media that DID report the incident
Please cite such references. What was cited were two copies of
exactly the same document, typos and all. In fact, searches for
such supporting evidence have all come up empty (by any number of
people including my searches).
>4) Since you know nothing about guns, you know even less about what age
>people can compete at anything
Tell me how much you know about determining who knows about guns
and who doesn't? You haven't shown much in the way of ability
to observe... did you notice where I live? Half the population
here literally goes to work with a gun. I've done a bit of
gunsmithing.
>And finally, just becasue you're a "nobody" does not prove that everyone
>else is as lazy, stupid and ignorant as you
Interesting choice of words coming from someone who exhibits all
of those characteristics in the very article where you
gratuitously accuse someone else.
Is there any evidence that it ISN'T true? If it happened in a
rural area, don't expect it to be covered by any "mainstream" daily
with a big Web presence.

Proving a negative is not our job, you nitwit.
Brings to mind the Royal Navy getting hauled up before the
Advertsing Standards Authority in the UK many years ago. They'd
published a recruitment ad "quoting" a Soviet general or admiral
saying how he wanted to invade, and IIRC the Soviet embassy
protested there was no record of any such quote. The Navy
suggested there was no evidence to say he /hadn't/ said it, but the
ASA said, quite rightly, that wasn't good enough and had them pull
the ad.
If compelling evidence that something isn't true is good enough to
publish and to assume credible, I take it that means we probably
/are/ subject to alien mind control, or should at least assume it's
a serious possibility and true until proven false. After all, lots
of people think it's true...
Pete.

If it is a valid story, plugging the information into google should bring up
a source.
And in fact, no source has yet been found, and the article has
been bouncing around the Internet for nearly six months now.
Which is evidence in itself... that it is a fake story.
That claim is invalid. It certainly *would* be in a daily
newspaper and certainly would be on the Internet.
>If it happened it's out there somewhere and a search engine will find it,
In the six months it has been on the Internet, no such source
has been found... the available evidence is that it's a fake.

Why? Even under the current laws a normal 11 year old can be left
alone for a certain number of hours. Nothing wrong with it at all.

The Butte Montana (Buite is apparently a common misspelling) Standard
would have carried it. The big news organizations would have picked
it up and it'd have made the 'happy news' filler on some national show
on a slow day. But the only place it's showing up is in newsgroups.
And the NRA members who looked on their list say it's not, as was
stated in the original post, there.
