hey dancers -

our next Blacksburg contra dance will be a week later, Sat, Oct 17.
it's a special weekend for us because about 25 dancers from
communities in NC, WV, VA, MD, and DC will be coming together for the
Va Dance Leadership Weekend:

these great folks are coming together to work on issues that face
contra dance organizers, and some are coming to take a calling
workshop from Bob Dalsemer (of Brasstown, NC). in fact, the calling
class participants will call the dance that night, and everyone will
be there to share the dancing fun.

i could use a few more folks to host our out of town guests. i have
several willing hosts lined up, but if there is anyone else,
preferably in or near town, who could put up a couple folks friday and
sat night (oct 16 and 17), please e-mail me soon!
