Subject: dropbox support

I've been trying to get your dropbox upload to work for the past hour and
nothings doing.

I downloaded tiddlywiki on my Mac. Unzipped and placed the folder in my
dropbox folder. I opened the dropbox folder on my ipad and opened the
empty.html in TWedit. I copied the 'dropboxUploadMacro' page into my
empty.html wiki as a new tiddler. I inserted the code <<dropboxUpload>>
into my sidebar. My sidebar now has, "Error in macro <<dropboxUpload>>"
when I click on the macro I get, "Error while executing
macro <<dropboxUpload>>:No such macro".

Why is this not working? It works in your default tiddlywiki, but I want it
in my own wiki.

Hi,

I assume you are running on an iOS device since the dropboxUploadMacro will
only work on iOS from within TWEdit/TWMobile.

1. Have you tagged the dropboxUploadMacro tiddler as "systemConfig"? When
tiddlywiki loads (any platform) it "runs" all tiddler tagged
"systemConfig". If you did not tag the tiddler as such then it will not get
loaded and will you will get the error message you quoted.

2. Assuming you have tagged per 1. then: Have you saved and reopened the
tiddlywiki in question? Tiddlywiki "runs" the "systemConfig" tiddler when
the tiddlywiki is loaded

Chris.

Thanks Chris, the systemConfig was the problem. Perhaps you can put an instruction to this effect in TWedit for other users who might struggle with the same issue? Also for complete newbie like myself I was unaware that I could import the plugin via the backstage import facility. This is much easier as it brings in the tags as well. Again, perhaps mentioning this in the documentation in TWedit might be useful.

thanks once again

Simon
