I'm very curious whether the "Track" function has been disabled ?
On my IM account I don't receive anymore tweets with words I track...

Is this due to the same facts as the API-decrease? Or am I just to
eager and not gifted with patience?

Fact of the matter is that I'm willing to swop from API requests to IM/
xmpp as my apps are also suitable for IM. However they do depend on
the 'track' functionality, as @replies won't be echoed through the
XMPP interface.

Or are there any other reasons/restrictions or cases in which the
"track"-function wouldn't work?

thanks! lots of fun at SXSW,

greetings from amsterdam.

I was just about to ask the same thing. Looks like my bot stopped
getting tracks around 1:59am EST today. I've been prototyping up
something for the newsroom and was planning on demoing it on
Wednesday.

The daemons that handle our tracking feature had gone down and failed
to be restarted. They've since been restarted and we'll be monitoring
them more effectively. Apologies.
