Hi I'd like to know if it's possible to get more than 100 searches per
request with the search API. I'm using the API with Flash, AS3. I
wanna do some data visualization and the limit is not helping me at
all.
I've thought about doing different queries, one for each 100 and up to
the 1500 limit. However I don't know if the search limit is for the
application or for every user. I mean, if one user exceeds the limit,
no other user will be able to use it until the next hour?
Any help will be appreciated.
Cheers.

The Search API rate limiting is implemented differently then the rate limiting for the REST API. For example the Search API is IP based and has no concept of user authentication, and the actual limit is not published.

You can read more in the Search API section on: http://apiwiki.twitter.com/Rate-limiting

100 searches per request or 100 results per search?
