Twitter has been a bit unstable for the last hour or so, I kept seeing
an error in hahlo about not being able to use a text offset as an
array blah...blah... Did a little investigation and it seems that the
500 internal server error, isn't returning error code 500 as expected
its returning a html page with status code 200.

exmaple of the array I'm getting through the json feed.

Array
(
[result] => Status: 500 Internal Server Error
Content-Type: text/html

500 Internal Server Error

[http_status] => 200
[count] => 1
[isajax] => 1
)

Apologies, that would be our Apache answering when it can't find an
application server to talk to. We'll work returning a proper 501 in
that case.

Howdy Alex!

Any update on this? I'm still seeing this intermittently.

Thanks!
