Running scala examples

Hi,

  I wanted to try cassovary scala  examples.

I might be doing something very stupid but here is the issue I ran into while running the script.

Plainly running that script throws an error "./build_run_example.sh: 34: ./build_run_example.sh: Syntax error: "(" unexpected"

Running that script specifically with bash throws the error:

thrift@markov:~/Documents/projects/cassovary/examples/scala$ bash build_run_example.sh 

root is /home/thrift/Documents/projects/cassovary

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: scala.Predef$.augmentString(Ljava/lang/String;)Ljava/lang/String;

at HelloGraph$.main(HelloGraph.scala:24)

at HelloGraph.main(HelloGraph.scala)

Any suggestions.

Update 1: The java HelloGraph script works fine .... issue with scala persists.

What version of java are you running?
