How to disable keyboard shortcut?

Hi all -
I want to disable keyboard shortcut, for dropdowns. Because they are
conflict against my global application shortcuts.
Please advise.

That's the thing : it's not about the code, but about the browser.
I guess mobile browser will have to consume less resources to use a
mobile-first framework than a classic one, because it will only apply the
defaults.
Second point might be that older browsers - that don't support media

The basic difference is that a browser will first try to render the mobile
- small resolution, and more simple - layout, and will then try to apply
the "enhancements" provided by the responsive design.
Could you explain this with Code?

Accordion and page hash question

No, use class 'in' only if you want one opened initially on page load.
However, the accordion functionality should still work if your intent is to
load the page with all closed.

Thanks for your help. I've done that, but it still is not working. I have
both bootstrap.min.js, and jquery-1.7.2.min.js in my js folder and both are
called in the index file. I also tried calling it with Google's CDN:

I'm not sure what's causing the first issue, but as for the second, if you
don't include any JS, none of the effects (carousel etc) will work as they
require JS (both jQuery AND the twitter bootstrap stuff).

You could add a 1px border to all the spans, then you could at least see
the outlines of each div.

Why notput what you've got so far on jsfiddle and provide a link? This one<[link]> even
has the twitter bootstrap JS/CSS included, ready to go!

The easiest way is with CSS. Give the div a class (let's use myBg) Then, in
CSS declare something like .myBg {background-image:url:"my_imag e.jpg";
background-repeat:no-repeat; background-size:contain;}. You can place this
in either the head of the document if it's only on that page, or in a
separate stylesheet to avoid duplication.

If you use container-fluid rather than container, it will stretch to fit
whatever the current screen width is.

You haven't included jQuery. TWBS needs that to work. Place it in your code
*before* the other js files. Plus, you're referencing a load of files you
don't have (and don't need to reference). So, get rid of all of the
<script> tags bar one and change it to bootstrap.min.js - this file
includes ALL the separate ones you have above.

If you want it to be responsive without having to write loads of lines of
code, you could use jQuery to find the height of the viewport, and set your
full size container to that height:

As in another post I've just replied to on the same subject, jQuery *isn't* part
of bootstrap, you have to include that as well, before you reference the
bootstrap JS.
