Storing xml in File System

Does Twister has the capablity to store the xml in the file system.

I have lot of xml files each exceeding 3 GB of file size.

It seems Hadoop has StreamXmlRecordReader. Is there any related API available in Twister.

I want to parallize reading the xml.Please provide your suggestion.
