Our most popular, and difficult, event is the end of season Joseph Ride
<http://twinriverscyclists.org/Events/Joseph/Joseph.htm> . We will leave the
southway boat launch at 7 on Saturday, Sept. 20th and return sometime after
4 on Sunday, Spet. 21st.
This is a difficult ride but we have enough sag that you needn't ride all
the way both ways unless you want to.
Make your Accommodations early: We have moved the date from early October to
late September which puts us right at the end of the "high" season so
accommodations could be difficult.Last year those who committted late found
themselves staying in Enterprise. No problem. We had enough sag to make
everything work including dinner together.
Dinner was another issue, however, taking over two hours to ge served. We
are considering catoring our own with a barbecue. Details to come.
Shirts: In addition the shirts we offered last year were more popular after
people actually saw them. We may do another shirt offer this year if we can
talk Debbie into putting one together. More details on that as well later.
Support our Sag: We have been lucky to have several sag vehcles to carry
luggage and rescue us when the weather turns bad. We usually take up a
collection on Sunday morning at breakfast to buy gas. This is a no fee ride,
please be generous to our sag crew.
Once Again, make your accommodations early. I have made mine and the Lodge
is holding a few rooms in expectation of others calling soon. Right now
plenty are available.
