The Twinning Newgroup is the place for anybody to discuss any issue
regarding the practice of twinning, or about particular twin towns,
villages and associations.  The group has been established by the
author of "TwinningTimes" the official website of the Hurst Green
Twinning Association, and it is hoped that it will help to foster a
better working relationship between the different associations
throughout the UK and Europe.

The group is however useless without people to post on it, and that is
why I hope webmasters of twinning websites or twinning committee
members will help to spread the word about this group in order to build
an online community of people interested in twinning.

For the time being this welcome thread should be used by new members to
introduce themselves and the organisations they belong to and support.
A separate thread will be established to act as a list of "Frequently
Asked Questions".
