According to Media Decoder, Lou Dobbs will announce his departure tonight at 7 eastern. So the question now is will he wind up at Fox News, or Fox Business?

The question is not where he will go from here. The question is why
was he allowed to stay where he was for so long?

I honestly think that as "last of the original anchors" -- and I wouldn't discount some residual admiration because of his longevity -- they pretty much granted him editorial freedom.

Tho this NYPost piece suggests J. Klein cracked down on so-called
"birther" stories about Obama, which p!ssed Lou off no end...

It appears that it's already presumed that he's running for something, despite not saying anything definitive in either way, but he has already flipped -- now saying he's for amnesty for undocumented immigrants residing in the country... laughing mockingly at the headline of this email thread. Either that, or he has just discovered that more people have been watching Univision & Telemundo than do CNN.
