Andrew Tyndall makes a solid case that the pioneering cable channel's future should be programming to the entire world on the Internet, not in television--"CNN's future rival is YouTube, not Fox News" (not to mention the BBC)--however, all of the attention seems to be on its domestic cable ratings woes and its largely unsuccessful attempts to present a bland version of FNC *and* MSNBC's programming:

I need to see some evidence that CNN execs think this way or even have
read this article before I conclude that CNN is not in long term
trouble.
