He's making a Dallas/Austin/Tulsa swing May 13-15 but with the
cheapest tickets for the second balcony in Dallas coming in at just
over $50 with fees included, I'm going to have to do some quick budget
calculations. The $695 meet-n-greet option is right out, unless one
of you nice folks hit the lottery recently and feel like sharing.

Best I can manage is $ 7.00 (three numbers, no Powerball)

Sounds like prices are varying wildly all over the country. Here in
San Francisco and San Jose, it was $80; a friend in Eugene, OR, paid
$40. What are they getting for Radio City?

Austin's tickets started at $40 + tax, fees and parking (there's virtually no on-street parking in that corner of downtown and even less public transit.) The venue doesn't have permanent seating installed, so I assume that that rate is for either standing general admission or folding chairs.

(Aside: This is the start of SXSW week here, and I'm glad to be spending most of it somewhere quieter: midtown Manhattan.)

Don't know about Radio City, but Constitution Hall in DC has three pricing levels (before fees) of $40, $60 and $80.  They all appear to be sold out, as is two of the three super-ticket levels (the $695 and the one below that).  I'm having a hard time justifying the $250 for the level that's not sold out, giving other spending I'm doing that summer.  It sounds like with fees, the DC tickets are priced really close to Big D.
