                                 (THE CARRIE DIARIES premieres January, 2013)

Which is the prequel to "Sex and the City," with AnnaSophia Robb, who looks enough like Sarah Jessica Parker's better photos to be convincing, playing the fashionista as a teenager before she moved to New York and met Charlotte, Miranda and Samantha--neither Darren Star nor MIchael Patrick King are involved in the series.

 

TUESDAY

8:00-9:00 PM            HART OF DIXIE (New Night)

9:00-10:00 PM          EMILY OWENS, M.D. (New Series)--Meryl Streep's kid Mamie Gummer as a bubbly new intern.

WEDNESDAY

8:00-9:00 PM            ARROW (New Series)--Green Arrow comes to television, under the auspices of Greg Berlanti.  At least it's not another summer superhero movie.

9:00-10:00 PM          SUPERNATURAL (New Night)--when "Gossip Girl" ends, this will be the last remnant of The WB on Little Green's schedule.

THURSDAY

8:00-9:00 PM            THE VAMPIRE DIARIES

9:00-10:00 PM          BEAUTY AND THE BEAST (New Series)--The late 80s cult show rebooted, with Kristin "Lana Lang" Kreuk in the Linda Hamilton role.  In case you forgot, Paul Witt and Tony Thomas produced this show without Susan Harris and are listed as EPs on this incarnation (owned by CW co-owner CBS).

FRIDAY

8:00-9:00 PM            AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL (New Night)--And we thought this show, the last remnant of UPN, was going to be dead and buried for once.

9:00-10:00 PM          NIKITA (New Time)
