I'm reminded of Costas talking about how, when NBC still had baseball,
he'd go though his mail after a postseason series and send letters
from fans of one team complaining about his bias to fans of the other
team. While I'm as tired of Buck as everyone else, I haven't noticed
any particular favoritism on his part.

I agree. Incompetence should never be mistaken for homerism. (Though I
have detected his joy when the Cards have won the Series.)

I was just delighted to have my first happy sports moment since probably the Giants-Bills Super Bowl that did not include Joe Buck.
