to TV or not TV
...the show, which is produced by Endemol USA and distributed by NBC
Universal, will shift production this summer to a studio in Waterford,
Conn., to take advantage of that state's film and TV production tax
breaks. Most of the 250 people who now work on "Deal or No Deal" will
lose their jobs.

Advantage ... contestants will just be able to look inside the
briefcases made of Waterford Crystal*.

*Waterford Krystle was the second runner up in the "Deal or No Deal"

These deals on tax cuts is going to hurt everyone in the long run.
Just like NAFTA stopped subsidizing of some manufacturing, we need a
NAFTA between the states to stop cutting our own throats on tax
revenue. An execption might be some place especially hard hit, like
Michigan. Connecticut is just trying to be a paraside to take all
these jobs from New York.
