Trying to learn Turbogears, and right now it's like pulling teeth because the
kids docs all seem to be spammed into non-existence.
For example, check out the wonderful layout template recipe.
http://kid.lesscode.org/trac/wiki/LayoutTemplateRecipe
It's blank, but the page source is full of loan links to spam sites.
Is anyone looking after these?
Cheers,
Mike

If you look at the page history, you'll see that this vandalism
happened just a few hours ago.

Given that it's a Wiki, it's incumbent on all of us to do so.

Actually, looking at what's done, it appears that the spammers are
getting smarter. If there hadn't been a bug in the script that wiped
out other formatted blocks on the page, it's likely that the edits
wouldn't have been noticed for a long time.

Cheers,
'tis wiki spam. Perhaps we should disallow anonymous edits...

I have taken care of most of the spam. I have written a little helper
script: http://www.traceback.org/2006/06/14/trac-spam-sucks/
Sorry that I am late responding to this thread. I don't check the TG
mailing list as much as the Kid mailing list.

I don't have the proper access *yet*. But when I do I'd also like to
upgrade Trac and start using the anti-spam plugin.
